no improvement, reconsider diagnosis. In some animals symptoms may repeat the dose.

Crystalline RETARDOSTEROID is a suspension with rapid effects and prolonged activity. In proportion
to the dose, the glucogenic effect lasts longer than 5 days, while antiallergic,
antiproliferative anti-inflammatory activities will continue for about three weeks. At the same time, and in long-term treatments, interferences
with adrenal cortex mineral metabolism and function are almost nil at the time they are reversible
at the end of therapy. These are substantial advantages compared to prednisolone and dexamethasone,
whose interference with mineral metabolism is higher.
The main advantages of RETARDOSTEROID can be summarized as follows:
– The fast and prolonged activity effectiveness, over 2 to 4 weeks.
– Marked anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and antiallergic activity.
– Fast and prolonged symptomatic relief of joint pain, inflammation and other related symptoms.
– Anti-inflammatory activity 50 times higher than hydrocortisone activity: Glucocorticoid activity 83 times
higher than hydrocortisone activity; practically without mineralocorticoid activity; rare adverse reactions.
– Repetitive subsequen to quickly react therapy symptoms.

Steroid retardation is indicated for inflammation caused by infections, allergies, trauma and other etiologies. In cattle, it is also indicated in ketosis.

Grace Period:
– Do not use in dairy females producing milk for human consumption.
– Do not use in horses whose meat is intended for human consumption.
– Do not slaughter the treated animal before 21 days after the end of treatment.

Intramuscular route. In cases of arthritis, intra-articular or intra-synovial.

Frequency of Use:
Single Dose
– Horses, with arthritis: The dose may be repeated 3 to 4 days later if necessary.

Dosage:

Administer the product by intramuscular or intraarticular injection.

Horses: 0.01 to 0.02 mL per kg body weight in a single dose (range 6 to 10 mL of product per animal).

Dogs and cats: 0.05 to 0.10 mL per kg bodyweight in a single dose. Remission may occur after 5 to 15 days. If symptoms persist, the dose may be repeated.

Dairy cows: To treat ketosis intramuscularly, administer a single dose of 10 mL per animal. If there is no response within 24 hours, reconsider the diagnosis. In some animals, symptoms return within 4 to 40 days after treatment. In these cases, repeat the dose. RETARDOESTEROIDE  RETARDOESTEROIDE RETARDOESTEROIDE
